Celebrating Our Successes and Looking Forward to the Future

It's that time of year again – the LifeStyle Aviation January team rendezvous! This year, we gathered at our headquarters at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (KRDU), with our entire team present including our Virginia and New Jersey based representatives.


The two-day event featured presentations from our CEO John Armstrong, Sales Director Sam Linton, and Marketing Director Sharon Raub as well as a special awards ceremony to recognize some of our top performers.

Virginia based representative Dave Passmore stole the show by flying in his Epic E1000 aircraft, with new team photo opportunities with both the turboprop and our red DA62 demonstrator aircraft.

The 2022 awards ceremony was a highlight of the meeting, with awards given out in multiple categories. We are excited to share that our top aircraft counselors of 2022 were Jon Gutekunst and Sam Linton, who exceeded their sales goals and went above and beyond to help our clients achieve their aviation dreams!

Our Outstanding Performance awards went to Patrick Meehan, our digital media specialist; and Jacob Sims with LifeStyle Aviation Systems; both of whom went consistently went above and beyond with the development and implementation of our new digital marketing software: AvWare. 

We also recognized Lori Glasser, our accounting manager, as our Most Valuable Player for her dedication and hard work throughout 2022; and Evert van der Lee as our Rookie of the Year!

In addition to the awards ceremony, we also heard from our CEO and President, John Armstrong, about LifeStyle Aviation's growth over the past year and plans for the future. As we receive our 6th yearly award in a row for Top-Selling Diamond Distributor, we're eager to continue our growth and expansion into 2023 with an exciting new direction and potential through AvWare. 

We also took some time to reflect on the challenges faced over the past few years, and how we were not only able to survive, but thrive. The COVID-19 pandemic brought unique challenges to the aviation industry; but we're lucky to not just sell airplanes -- we help achieve dreams. And being in the "dream business," we're truly opening our clients' lives to a whole new world that they can achieve through modern aircraft potential.
